Talent Acquisition Consultant – As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, I enjoy partnering with our clients acting as a member of their team by integrating into their systems and easing their workload.
What did you do prior to joining LJTP?
Principal Recruiter for a Department of Energy subcontractor for over 9 years hiring nuclear, technical, and non-technical talent for DOE sites across the country.
What drew you to LJTP originally? And how has LJTP changed since?
I was drawn to the company culture and work/life balance and amazing Employee reviews online. The Leadership at LJTP is inspiring! I strive every day to be the best representation of this great company!
What is your favorite part about working at LJTP?
My favorite part of working at LJTP is the people. I love our monthly trivia nights, learning circle, and team activities. Our daily internal chat messages are so uplifting and helpful to keep us connected remotely. We are growing together as a family supporting and cheering each other own every day!
What is the most challenging part of your job?
I thought the most challenging part would be learning something new. I’ve had the opportunity to work with several amazing Clients and I’ve learned to really embrace change. This has been a great growth experience.
How has LJTP helped you grow personally and professionally?
LJTP has helped me to enjoy my time off which has directly impacted me professionally. Being able to disconnect and be refreshed when returning to work is vital to performance.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Fishing – Kayaking and wading the beautiful rivers and lakes of East Tennessee with my husband, Don. We also love weekend trips exploring new cities.
