What is your role at LJTP (describe in more detail than just the title)?

My role at LJTP is as a Talent Acquisition Consultant partnered with OrthoFi. I am not only helping them in recruiting IT personnel from Sr. Software Engineers, Software Engineers, and Product Managers but also helping streamline their process and build a recruitment strategy.

What did you do prior to joining LJTP?

Before having the privilege to join LJTP, I was working for HireUp Staffing. While at HireUp, I would recruit a variety of positions ranging from manufacturing, business, and IT. I also helped manage the accounts that I was working on.

What drew you to LJTP originally? And how has LJTP changed since?

The culture is what drew me into LJTP and is what continues to have me here and striving to be the best I can be. I was lucky enough to have a former colleague work here first and only had amazing things to say about them. As time has gone by, the culture remains amazing even as we grow and have started to implement some training so people can progress in their careers.

What is your favorite part about working at LJTP?

The culture is absolutely my favorite part. Everyone is willing to help to ensure that you succeed. Also, we are on the same page as a company as to what we want to accomplish in the future.

What is the most challenging part of your job?

I would have to say is making sure to stay out of my head. I have always been my biggest critic and struggle with this at times so when this happens it is nice to be able to reach out to people on my team and talk it through. Also, this market is making recruiting a little more difficult but nothing that can’t be overcome.

How has LJTP helped you grow personally and professionally?

Personally, LJTP has helped me become a better person for my family and friends because they give me the ability to be there for them. On a professional level, they have helped me become a better leader because I am able to see what true leadership is.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, trying new restaurants and breweries with my wife, watching sports (especially all levels of football), and working out. Also playing and relaxing with my dog.
