What is your role at LJTP?
As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, I think of myself as a recruiting project manager. I am an extension of the client’s organization, dedicated to handling the lifecycle of recruiting effort for the roles we will be working on together and a partner to the hiring team to find the right person for the role.

 

What did you do prior to joining LJTP?
I have been in the staffing industry since 1995! I have held roles in recruiting, sales/business development, program management, and RPO recruiting.

 

What drew you to LJTP originally? And how has LJTP changed since?
The work/life balance of being a talent acquisition professional with the ability to work remotely and own my activity and productivity and client relationship was very attractive. As for how we’ve changed—we are bigger and growing—but with the same values and inclusivity of the team.

 

What is your favorite part about working at LJTP?
The collaborative culture and team! We are really engaged with each other to help our peers be the best in talent acquisition for our clients.

 

What is the most challenging part of your job?
Right now, the competitive marketplace in certain sectors make for tougher searching and tight timelines. Luckily at LJTP, we have both great resources and a robust sourcing team to bolster our efforts.

 

How has LJTP helped you grow personally and professionally?
Being a valued team member, trusted to perform well for our clients has made me a more confident professional and able to relax and enjoy my personal time, focused on my family.

 

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Spending time with my family and friends, reading, painting, and enjoying life/activities and restaurants in Chicago area!
