What is your role at LJTP?

I am a Sourcing Specialist at LJTP. I am part of the talent acquisition team trying to find the best candidates out there for our clients every day.

What did you do prior to joining LJTP?

After staying home with my kids for nearly ten years, I went back to work as a Sourcing Specialist in another industry. I came to LJTP with five years’ experience and love every second!  I am very fortunate to do what I enjoy every day for the last five plus years all from home.

What drew you to LJTP originally? And how has LJTP changed since?

I found LJTP via The Mom Project, which automatically means they are a family friendly company and is what first caught my attention.  As I got to talking with Dan and Tim, I knew this was something I wanted to be a part of. I have only been here a few months but am amazed at the growth and talent we have on our team.

What is your favorite part about working at LJTP?

I like the sense of comradery we have even though we all work virtually. Although I have yet to meet the majority of the team in person due to various reasons, I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and working together in the near future!

What is the most challenging part of your job?

Although I am very grateful to maintain an amazing work/life balance, sometimes working from home being sort of isolated from the outside world can be difficult…. but I wouldn’t change a thing!

How has LJTP helped you grow personally and professionally?

LJTP has helped me maintain a better life balance overall personally AND professionally. I have learned how to prioritize my time overall, which leads to much more productivity in many aspects of my day to day life.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

When I am not working, I love to travel with my family, go to every concert I can, attend Cubs games, watch my son play hockey and watch my daughter dance. Working from home I am always looking for a new adventure to get us out and about on the weekends!
