What is your role at LJTP (describe in more detail than just the title)?

I am a Talent Acquisition Consultant at Lucas James Talent Partners. My role is to partner with our clients and be an extension of the HR/Talent Acquisition team.

 

What did you do prior to joining LJTP?

Prior to LJTP, I was a Recruitment Consultant/Ops Manager for another US RPO. I have over 15 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on executive search, healthcare, and tech.

 

What drew you to LJTP originally? And how has LJTP changed since?

The specialized RPO model and the people pulled me in! The company culture and support from the Executive Leadership team had me hooked during the interview process. Over the past several months of working for LJTP…it keeps getting better!

 

What is your favorite part about working at LJTP?

My favorite part about working at LJTP is the huge support from leadership. Everyone is so helpful and although we all work remotely, an “open-door policy” is evident. Not only does your direct manager have your back, but the entire ELT is also always there to support the team.

 

What is the most challenging part of your job?

As much as the remote environment is positive, it can also come with some challenges. Not being able to “physically” receive help with a spreadsheet or pulling a report, has been the main obstacle. But thanks to screen share and team members jumping into the rescue….it’s safe to say this challenge is minimal.

 

How has LJTP helped you grow personally and professionally?

LJTP has helped me grow by allowing me to decide my career path. The opportunities are endless and the support/encouragement from leadership only inspires me to be the best version of myself.

 

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

When I am not working, I love spending time with my family and shopping till I drop!
