What is your role at LJTP (describe in more detail than just the title)?

Talent Acquisition Consultant. I help our clients find and attract great talent while advising on market and candidate trends to ensure success at the highest level.

What did you do prior to joining LJTP?

I was doing Technical Recruiting for a small (8 People) firm in the Central Gulf Region. (Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Mobile)

What drew you to LJTP originally? And how has LJTP changed since?

The opportunity to join a growing organization with leaders embodying the organization’s vision. The culture here could not be more collaborative & supportive. LJTP has grown in numbers, but the core of our values has not waivered one inch, and it shows with the talent being added to the team, and the leadership members putting vision first.

What is your favorite part about working at LJTP?

The flexibility is tremendous, but I feel the opportunity to work with talented members of our team and with our clients, really makes this a special place. In my previous role, I had no client interaction; the ability to take charge of the recruiting process is empowering but challenging in the best way.

What is the most challenging part of your job?

The biggest challenge is the hyper-competitiveness of this market, but our team gives us every opportunity to be as successful as possible.

How has LJTP helped you grow personally and professionally?

I’ve only been here 7 months, but I have grown a long way professionally. Getting the opportunity to work together with clients, has given me so much more perspective on what makes a successful recruiting strategy.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I primarily do things outdoors like biking, kayaking, and disc golf, but I do like to travel to nearby areas to try out new craft beer. I’m a huge football fan, and when it’s in season, I watch or attend as many games as possible.
