What is your role at LJTP? 
Talent Acquisition Consultant – Full cycle recruiting, delivering a quality experience to our clients and finding them the best talent possible. Also being an advocate for the candidates we engage. Solving problems one job at a time!

What did you do prior to joining LJTP? 
Prior to starting with LJTP I worked in various roles supporting businesses with hiring needs across many industries. I have experience recruiting for talent in skilled trades, manufacturing, IT, legal, and finance.

What drew you to LJTP originally? And how has LJTP changed since? 
I was referred by a former colleague, I was very impressed with how highly she spoke of the team and especially leadership. I was drawn to the collaborative and ambitious environment that is very apparent from the outside.

 

What is your favorite part about working at LJTP? 
Autonomy. The ability to approach things in your own unique way, yet having the support you need to ask questions and improve. The team is extremely welcoming and friendly, and it was very clear from the first day that LJTP was a place where I was going to grow and contribute to an amazing company.

 

What is the most challenging part of your job? 
The most challenging part is finding motivated and passionate candidates in industries that have suffered for various reasons. Seeking out people with that vitality and motivation can be challenging at times.

How has LJTP helped you grow personally and professionally? 
I’m surrounded by extremely qualified and professional recruiters. Seeing how they work motivates me to become better at what I do every day.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? 
Spending time with my wife and being outside. I enjoy reading, gardening, exercise, and learning new things on YouTube. Cooking has become a hobby of mine, and there is always something new to learn or try.
