What is your role at LJTP?
Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
My role at LJTP is to work closely with our Talent Consultants to source and find qualified candidates for our clients’ hiring needs. Together, we put together an action plan on how we will search, screen, and submit candidates that align with our clients’ profile, while providing feedback and quality service along the way!
What did you do prior to joining LJTP?
I was a stay at home mom for a year and half before joining LJTP. Prior to that, I was a Corporate Recruiter in the tech and finance space, and also worked at a staffing agency in Recruiting and Sales.
What drew you to LJTP originally? And how has LJTP changed since?
LJTP is a firm that values its employees and offers high-end customer service to their clients. They take pride in a team culture, understand urgency and quality, and work/life balance. LJTP has experienced exponential growth in the past three months since I have joined the team and it has been exciting to be a part of it.
What is your favorite part about working at LJTP?
My favorite part about working at LJTP is everyone is willing to help each other out and offer support when needed. We celebrate the wins, but also pick each other up if there are tough searches or weeks.
What is the most challenging part of your job?
The most challenging part is the variety of roles that we take on. Whether it is a Scientist position, Developer, or Sales role, we are up for the challenge! I think starting the role at LJTP over Zoom and not being able to have face to face interactions has been a little challenging, but overall have figured out a good process with a lot of touchpoints throughout the week!
How has LJTP helped you grow personally and professionally?
LJTP has helped me to get creative in my search efforts, to keep digging and finding candidates in the hard to find places. To speak up if there is something I feel I’m struggling with.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I enjoy running, working out, listening to podcasts, hanging out with my two little boys, dog, husband, and family, as well as playing tennis and cards!
