What is your role at LJTP?
I am a Talent Acquisition Consultant. I work with clients on their Talent Acquisition needs. I partner closely with hiring managers, HR, or the founder of a company to help them find top talent and ultimately grow their company. I also bring guidance on process improvement, performance management, and coaching amongst other areas.

What did you do prior to joining LJTP?
I spent the majority of my career in corporate Human Resources and Recruiting roles at high-growth technology-driven companies. I bring a unique mix of corporate recruiting and HR knowledge while working with my clients.

What drew you to LJTP originally? And how has LJTP changed since?
I absolutely love high-growth start-up environments, it’s where I thrive. As soon as a met Tim and the leadership team at LJTP, I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of. LJTP is growing by the minute! We have an amazing group of talent here internally and I am really excited for what is to come! Buckling up now 🙂

What is your favorite part about working at LJTP?
I really love the ability to own your work. Here at LJTP, everyone is moving so quickly, so it is expected that you are able to ‘own your piece’ (one of our principles). The leadership team has the general trust in us to manage projects independently and go above and beyond for our clients which is something I value.

What is the most challenging part of your job?
Being in the HR/Recruiting space is always unpredictable. There are so many things that are outside of your control, which takes some getting used to if you like to be in control, like me!

How has LJTP helped you grow personally and professionally?
Again, the leadership team here is amazing. During my 2 months here, I have already learned so much from the leadership team and my colleagues. Everyone is so accessible, smart, and willing to help in any way!

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I love traveling and experiencing different cultures! I have been to 16+ countries so far, and would like to visit Japan next! I also love supporting local Chicago restaurants and checking out new spots in the city!
