What is your role at LJTP?
I am a Talent Acquisition Consultant. I partner with companies to help in their recruiting efforts. I am responsible for identifying talent, screening the candidates, and presenting them to the Hiring
Managers.
What did you do prior to joining LJTP?
I have been in recruiting for over 15 years. The bulk of that was spent at CareerBuilder.
What drew you to LJTP originally? And how has LJTP changed since?
I was referred by someone who worked here already. After interviewing with some leaders I instantly was attracted to the culture of the company. I also liked the unique business model
which is different than your standard agency setup. When I started only about 6 months back we were at about 40 employees. Now we are over 100.
What is your favorite part about working at LJTP?
I love the work-life balance this job provides. I have two active kids and I am able to be present in their lives. I don’t have to miss games or other events. Being a mom is my #1 job.
What is the most challenging part of your job?
Honestly, it’s not so challenging. Sometimes you deal with some difficult hiring managers but that’s par for the course in recruiting. Being a fully remote team, sometimes it’s hard to bond
with other co-workers but we find a way to do it here with great virtual events.
How has LJTP helped you grow personally and professionally?
I see a future here. We are growing like crazy and I know there will be opportunities down the road for leadership positions where I will be able to share my ideas and be a part of the success
of this start-up.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I am an exercise junkie. I love working out whenever I can. I also love spending time with my family!
