What is your role at LJTP?
I am a Talent Acquisition Specialist working on a team with a Talent Acquisition Consultant/Senior Recruiter sourcing the best candidates for our client. Currently working within the engineering and manufacturing industry.
What did you do prior to joining LJTP?
I started my career in sales, where I learned my passion for helping others, which led me to a recruiting role.
What drew you to LJTP originally? And how has LJTP changed since?
The culture drew me in and the changes I have seen in the short time being employed here are impressive. We are growing at jaw-dropping speed and I am excited to be working on such a dynamic team.
What is your favorite part about working at LJTP?
The best thing about working in the recruiting world is knowing that you are potentially changing someone’s life with the job opportunity you are helping them obtain, and LJTP celebrates that success DAILY with team recognition.
What is the most challenging part of your job?
My coworkers always want to be on my business calls…and by coworkers, I mean my two kids and two dogs.
How has LJTP helped you grow personally and professionally?
I am forever grateful for LJTP giving me the opportunity to prove myself as an amazing asset to the team while being a mom at the same time. Family is super important but it is also important to grow yourself professionally and stay relevant in your career as well. I have grown by pushing myself to do more overall thanks to LJTP. There is always room for improvement – you just need to embrace that push!
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I enjoy just about anything with fresh air involved! Being outdoors is an instant mood booster. (I’m that crazy Midwesterner who doesn’t wear a coat unless it’s 20 degrees outside) Also cooking. It is so satisfying eating a meal, or even just a snack, with real wholesome food.
