What is your role at LJTP (describe in more detail than just the title)?

I am a Talent Acquisition Consultant. My job is to find the right fit for each client’s open position. To be successful, I first carefully listen to understand our clients’ needs and then identify great talent for the role needed. As a matchmaker, I act as an ally for both the client and the candidate to ensure a successful pairing.

What did you do prior to joining LJTP?

Before joining LJTP, I was a corporate and agency recruiter placing talent across a variety of industries from insurance, transportation, financial services, marketing, IT, and consumer product goods, to name a few.

What drew you to LJTP originally? And how has LJTP changed since?

LJTP immediately struck me as an exciting workplace with a clear opportunity for growth. In the time I have been at LJTP, I have seen us double the resources of our team, setting the stage for even greater long-term success and opportunities.

What is your favorite part about working at LJTP?

Working for LJTP has provided an opportunity for me to work closely with a variety of exciting clients across a wide range of industries and roles. Working remotely and having a flexible schedule allows me to have a career that I enjoy while not missing important moments with my family.

What is the most challenging part of your job?

The current market conditions are favorable to candidates, which can make it challenging to connect with the right talent. At these times, it takes thoughtful and creative communication to find the best people.

How has LJTP helped you grow personally and professionally?

LJTP provides me with an opportunity to work remotely, which helps me balance work/life better than I have previously. Professionally, LJTP has expanded the fields for which I have successfully placed clients, giving me even greater confidence recruiting no matter what position is thrown my way.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

When not working you will find me volunteering at my children’s school, cheering my kids in their sports and other favorite activities, uncovering new dining experiences in the city with friends, and unwinding after a long day with my husband by indulging in reality tv (much to his dismay).
