What is your role at LJTP?
As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, it is my job to source and interview candidates, and present those candidates to hiring managers.
What did you do prior to joining LJTP?
Prior to working at Lucas James, I worked at a variety of companies recruiting for roles in retail, clinical research, scientific, and light industrial.
What drew you to LJTP originally? And how has LJTP changed since?
I was drawn to Lucas James by how easy-going managers were while speaking with them. (The work- from-home part didn’t hurt, either!). The biggest change since I have started has been the size of the team.
What is your favorite part about working at LJTP?
I like the flexibility and work/life balance that Lucas James allows. I also have amazing colleagues with whom I have created great relationships. Although we are all remote, we still manage to remain a cohesive team.
What is the most challenging part of your job?
The most challenging part of my position is finding people who are willing to take low-paying positions.
How has LJTP helped you grow personally and professionally?
Working at Lucas James, I have had to find many new and different ways of finding/reaching candidates. I have also learned how to communicate more effectively while in a remote setting.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
When not working, I try to spend as much time with family as possible.
