What is your role at LJTP?
I source qualified candidates partnered with my Talent Acquisition Consultant. My job is to find candidates through various sources, and make sure their profile matches the job details. I schedule phone screens for the recruiter. I also share with the recruiter and the client some challenges that I may run into in my search, and find ways to alter my search to get better results.
What did you do prior to joining LJTP?
I was a Technical Recruiter for Randstad.
What drew you to LJTP originally? And how has LJTP changed since?
I was recruited via LinkedIn after completing a contract. When I first joined the organization, I was somewhat not sure if I would like the company due to it being a start-up. However, I have seen that
there’s opportunity for career advancement and growth. I also really like the collaborative nature that LJTP offers, for it to be a fully remote company.
What is your favorite part about working at LJTP?
My favorite part is seeing the contributions I can make as a Sourcer.
What is the most challenging part of your job?
The most challenging part of the job is being remote. I’m accustomed to working in an office and everyone being in the same office, and I’m able to go to their desk to talk to them.
How has LJTP helped you grow personally and professionally?
LJTP has helped me grow personally by being able to form relationships with my co-workers online. It has helped me grow professionally because I can actually see myself growing with LJTP.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
When I’m not working, I’m either at the gym working out, working on my YouTube cooking channel or with my mother.
