What is your role at LJTP (describe in more detail than just the title)?
As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, I partner with my customers to develop, implement, and enhance hiring strategies. Using a consultative approach, I provide creative solutions and recommendations to remove barriers and overcome challenges.
What did you do prior to joining LJTP?
I worked as a Corporate Recruiter for Yamaha Motor Corporation supporting the hiring needs for different product and corporate support groups, as well as subsidiary companies.
What drew you to LJTP originally? And how has LJTP changed since?
The flexibility, empowerment, and long-term growth opportunities. Since joining LJTP, I have had a newfound passion for what I do.
What is your favorite part about working at LJTP?
The quality of life; working at LJTP allows me to enjoy my life while still fulfilling the responsibilities of my role.
What is the most challenging part of your job?
Having to deal with so many factors that are out of my control can be challenging- location, hours, compensation, benefits, etc. Job seekers want more than just a paycheck and sometimes companies are not on the same page.
How has LJTP helped you grow personally and professionally?
There is more to life than working and LJTP truly showcases this. The guiding principles “own your piece” and “always assume good intent” have reshaped how I approach everything I do at work and in my personal life.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I love hanging out with my kids and really enjoy traveling, baking, playing tennis, and musical theater.
