What is your role at LJTP?
I am a Sourcing Specialist. I familiarize myself with job descriptions, requirements, and desired skillsets then source and review resumes from internal and external databases. I also source passive candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter and schedule phone screens for TAC.
What did you do prior to joining LJTP?
Senior/Lead Full Desk Recruiter for 10 years for the Staffing Industry and 2+ years TAC for Corporate HR.
What drew you to LJTP originally?
I liked the fact that LJTP is a start-up and I saw myself being a part of an organization that has a great foundation within the current team and building even more day to day. After my interview with Matt and Dan, I knew I wanted to learn the LJTP business model and be a part of a culture that cares about the client and the candidate financially and personally, showing a team with grit, honesty, fairness, and hungry competition – which I had to be a part of!
And how has LJTP changed since?
Every Monday through Tim’s talking points and thoughts to the team has solidified to me that this is where I need to be. Through the team huddles, I’ve found confirmation of the plan I have with the company, which is to consistently grow with the company as it elevates.
What is your favorite part about working at LJTP?
The team’s hands-on culture to assist one another and the ongoing training when needed.
What is the most challenging part of your job?
Not having the control of knowing that candidates will show up for their in-person or virtual interview even after doing all checkpoints and follow-up.
How has LJTP helped you grow personally and professionally?
I’m new to the team and have still learned multiple new ways using sourcing engines that I’ve been using for years (Interseller) – which is great. This is only the beginning!
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Dancing, Roller skating, and Home Interior shopping.
