What is your role at LJTP?
Talent Acquisition Consultant – I am a full lifecycle recruiter for different LJTP clients, meaning I interface with the client, as well as sourcing candidates for their talent needs.
What did you do prior to joining LJTP?
Prior to joining LJTP, I have been a recruiter and contract recruiter for the past 26 years. I have worked in various industries, recruiting talent
across many functional disciplines including technical talent, sales, corporate functions (HR, IT, Legal, Finance, etc).
What drew you to LJTP originally? And how has LJTP changed since?
I was drawn to LJTP by the business model and the sustained relationships that can be built with this sales model. I wanted a long-term home, and also a vibrant team that collaborates to be successful. I have only been with LJTP for 4 weeks, so the most significant change so far is the growth I’ve seen on the team since I started.
What is your favorite part about working at LJTP?
My favorite part of LJTP is the encouragement and congratulatory messages which constantly are published and called out for successes and best practices.
What is the most challenging part of your job?
So far, the most challenging part is to navigate the various systems we utilize, and of course finding top talent for our clients.
How has LJTP helped you grow personally and professionally?
So far in my short tenure, I’ve felt encouragement from team members, which motivates me, even more, to perform in my job. I’ve enjoyed working with my managers and peers so far, and have begun to make personal connections with others within LJTP.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I am a guitar player, songwriter, drummer, and I enjoy reading philosophy and psychology related materials, along with playing golf when the weather is good! I have two middle school children who also keep me quite busy with their activities around our town of Brentwood, TN – just south of Nashville.
