What is your role at LJTP?
While my title is Talent Acquisition Consultant, I like to think of myself as a “Client Educator”. Making sure that the client understands our mission, purpose, and market for the talent they seek.
What did you do prior to joining LJTP?
I worked in similar industries as a Technical Recruiter in the areas of Defense, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Engineering.
What drew you to LJTP originally? And how has LJTP changed since?
I had a friend that spoke very highly of the team and CEO. I decided to check it out and was pleasantly surprised at the innovative approach being made with the clients we work with. At that point, I realized I wanted to be a part of the company!
What is your favorite part about working at LJTP?
Being partnered up with a teammate that understands what it takes to be successful in this industry. Also, being able to brainstorm with someone on how to find the best talent for the position is invaluable.
What is the most challenging part of your job?
The most challenging aspect of the job is to make sure that the client is aware of market trends for the position they are looking to fill. Whether it is increasing salary, understanding the candidate pool, or their brand recognition in the market, clients need to be educated on those aspects. Our job is to make sure they are keenly aware of these aspects and more.
How has LJTP helped you grow personally and professionally?
This company has helped me in developing additional partnership skills with my team and those I work with on specific accounts.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Typically hanging out with the family, playing games, guitar, or building something new in my ManCave!
