What is your role at LJTP (describe in more detail than just the title)?
I am currently a Talent Acquisition Consultant at Lucas James Talent Partners. In this role, I am responsible for providing excellent candidates to our clients. I also maintain relationships with our partners.
What did you do prior to joining LJTP?
Prior to Lucas James Talent Partners, I worked for an executive search firm. I worked in Mid-Senior level roles. Before that, I was a Recruiter for a staffing agency. I mainly focused on client relationships and candidate outreach. Within this company, I was able to help the branch double its revenue.
What drew you to LJTP originally? And how has LJTP changed since?
When LJTP reached out to me, I was not in the market for a new role. I spoke with their Talent Partner and was instantly drawn in. I was very intrigued by the business model and work-life balance. Everything that was promised about the culture and company has exceeded my expectations.
What is your favorite part about working at LJTP?
My favorite part about LJTP is the culture. The comradery within the company is amazing! When you start with LJTP you have so much outreach from the internal team. You will never feel alone! The team leaders are amazing and are there to help you succeed.
What is the most challenging part of your job?
The most challenging part of my job is learning patience. When a client does not have the same urgency that you do it is hard.
How has LJTP helped you grow personally and professionally?
LJTP has allowed me to grow independently. They trust you and don’t have to micromanage you. It has allowed me to problem solve and allow me to own my piece! It has helped me personally by being present in my children’s lives. I never have to miss any school events. Children are only young once and that means a lot to me!
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
When I am not working at the best company ever, I am enjoying time with my family and doing home improvement projects! I also love nature, camping, and hiking.
